Dear Grooming Clientele,
As most of you know these last few years have been hard ones, this one in particular. Please take the time to sit down and read this newsletter. There are some big changes that we are expecting to happen in the next coming months. We will be keeping all of you posted as to what those changes are so, please be patient with us during this time.
Because my schedule is extremely full, I am not accepting any new clients currently. We can put new clients on a waiting list. When we will contact the people on the waiting list is not known. For all our current clients we ask that you please schedule multiple appointments in advance, and you are able to schedule even up to a year's worth of appointments. My schedule is currently booked till August and continuing to be booked out 8 to 12 weeks doesn't look like it's going away.
Starting Memorial Day, we are going to not only send the reminder 4 days in advance but another reminder the day before your appointment. Please double check that appointment time on the notification that we send you. My schedule is so full, showing up time is very important no sooner or later. If you are unable to make it to this appointment I must be informed, or you will receive a no-show fee.
Due to circumstances that are out of our control, rising costs on everything from shampoos, equipment, cost of living and higher employee wages, our annual grooming price increase will be around the $5-$15 mark up. We have yet to determine the increase as there are some big changes that we are considering before evaluating the increase. We had hoped to keep it lower this year but that’s just not the way things are working out here and with the economy. We wanted to reach out with a heads up in advance. The price increase will be put into effect Oct. 1st.
In addition, we will be implementing a $2.00 convenience fee for all credit card transactions. Cash or checks are still accepted and encouraged to avoid the fees.
We are also have been sending out new client/liability forms, these are just a formality to keep all information up to date so please if you receive the texts or emails with the forms, fill them out. This will become a yearly thing.
Please watch for postings in the shop, on our website and Facebook page for updates closer to October 1st in regard to this.
We hope you all understand that in this situation it’s a bit out of our control and raising costs is a necessary thing. If you are unable to afford our prices, we understand that you may seek out grooming elsewhere and we will miss having you as clients but we all have to do what’s best for us and our fur family members.
Thank you to everyone for all your love and support throughout these hard times. We truly appreciate all of you and your business very much and hope to continue seeing you and grooming our fur friends for many years to come.
